Welcome to the 4th Annual Great Minnesota Aviation Gathering (GMAG)! This event is sponsored by the Minnesota Pilots Association (MN Pilots), a 501(c)3 non-profit, grass-roots organization whose mission is to promote and protect aviation in Minnesota through advocacy, education, outreach and social activities and by a number of business and aviation-related organizations. This event will be held again at the Anoka County-Blaine Airport (KANE) in Blaine, Minnesota.

The MN Pilots Association believes that pilots and supporters of aviation in Minnesota want and deserve an annual event which will bring together people from across the state and from neighboring states to celebrate the joys and challenges of aviation. We were gratified to have over 800 people attend this two day event in 2014, 2015 and 2016, and expect an even greater attendance at our 4th Annual event. The word is out…this event is not to be missed!

We bring together a variety of aviation-related vendors, exhibitors and sponsors who provide up-to-date information and services to those who attend. The event also offers a series of in-depth, provocative presentations by dynamic speakers in what we call “Hangar Flying” sessions. These sessions are held in conjunction with the exhibitors to optimize exposure of the attendees to the exhibitors, and vice versa. We were gratified to receive much positive feedback from those who attended the Hangar Flying Sessions, and we intend to continue the tradition of informative sessions presented by speakers who are not just good, but exceptional. The 4th Annual GMAG will also bring together Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA) Chapter leaders from across the State to foster dialogue and to exchange ideas on how to get more children and adults involved in aviation.

We are pleased to announce that this year’s event will be held, once again, in a spectacular venue: the Golden Wings Flying Museum (http://www.goldenwingsmuseum.com), on the Anoka County-Blaine Airport. This wonderful, living history collection of close to 30 unique aircraft from America’s Golden Age of Aviation (1920’s-1930’s) serves as a unique backdrop for exhibitors.

Exhibits will be in the Museum, providing attendees an opportunity to spend plenty of time visiting with vendors and organizations in an aviation environment that is second to none. Exhibit Space is available for vendors, aviation community organizations and groups. We design the venue so as to showcase our Sponsors and Exhibitors, providing a terrific incubator in which to educate and inspire the aviation community, and the public, on aviation technology, products and services. Exhibitors will receive maximum exposure from well-placed 10’ x 10’ spaces located throughout the Golden Wings Flying Museum.

Given the remarkably success of the first two Aviation Gatherings, we are very excited as we make plans for the 4th Annual Great Minnesota Aviation Gathering. We fully anticipate pilots and aviation enthusiasts from across the state and region to attend one or both days of the Gathering. Admission is $5 per day, with free admission to members of the Minnesota Pilots Association.
