Minnesota Pilots Association Aviation Maintenance/Avionics Technician Scholarship
The Minnesota Pilots Association recognizes the the critical need for aviation and avionics technicians as a foundation for aviation safety. This scholarship is granted in the sum of $2000 to an exceptional individual who has demonstrated knowledge and skills which will contribute to exemplary and successful completion of training in aviation maintenance technology or aviation avionics technology. Applicants must be enrolled in a recognized aviation maintenance technology or aviation avionics technology program.
- Minnesota resident;
- Use scholarship funds to offset costs of training at a recognized aviation maintenance or avionics technician training facility;
- Applicant must be enrolled in, or is currently in, a technician training program;
- Submit at least one letter of recommendation, preferably from an individual who knows the applicant and is an aviation maintenance technician or avionics technician;
Submit a statement, in 500 words or less, describing why the applicant deserves this scholarship and for what the scholarship funds will be used.
